To Grow A Great Church, We Must:

I. EXIHIBT THE GREAT COMMITMENT:
    DON’T BE DISTRACTED
    “So when they met together, they asked him, ‘Lord, are you at this
     time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?’ He said to them: ‘It
     is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his
     own authority.’” v 6-7

  1. We Focus On The Wrong Questions. v 6-7

  1. We Look In The Wrong Directions. v 9-11
  1. We Follow The Wrong Instructions. v 4, 12

II. EXECUTE THE GREAT COMMISSION:
     DON’T BE DISOBEDIENT.
     “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
      and you will be my witnesses…” v 8a

     “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
      the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and
      teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And
      surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:16-20

III. EXERCISE THE GREAT COMMANDMENT:
       DON’T BE DISCRIMINATE.
      “Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and
       with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and
       greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your
       neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-38

      “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
       and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
       Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”  v 8
